SEATTLE | WASHINGTON PART 8

landart at greenlake, love this lake, roughly 3 mile loop.
shopping in ballard, at lucca, kandyce's favorite seattle store.
donuts at mighty O's made our seattle mornings. organic & made with no animal by-products these donuts are the best we've ever had. located in tanglewood.
tofu delight sandwhich with thick carmelized onions at Paseo in fremont, they also have a location in ballard. cash only.
rice bean salad at Paseo, cheap city eats.

fremont flare
cacao beans
theo chocolate factory in fremont is a must stop for us whenever we are in the neighborhood. the showroom is permeated with the seductive scent of chocolate, not to mention they sample every bar, so you're bound to have your chocolate fix before you leave. they offer tours as well, which we loved, but not necessary every time you feel like a chocolate indulgence.
veggie bibimbap bowl at uwajamayas, an asian supermarket
downtown seattle.
flatbread with hummus, carrot currant salad & beet orange salad.
olive oil gelato w/ huckleberry compote at sitka & spruce, on capitol hill.
fruit salad w/ walnuts, honey & mint.
odd fellows great place for tea, coffee & a bite to eat. charming brick & mortar on capitol hill. another notable on capital hill is the landmark hardvard exit, it's a lovely vintage theater.

seattle is such a vibrant city, with so many charming neighborhoods to discover. make sure to explore historic ballard for specialty shops and artisan restaurants, fremont for funky boutiques and veggie eats, and capitol hill for grungy/urban establishments.
