the secret tea room in the soho district of london, was our favorite tea room we went to for a cuppa' tea and cake. the tea room is above the coach & horses pub, hence the name "secret" tea room, you have to walk through the bar and up an old spiral staircase.
we had the room to ourselves and it was a rainy london fog kinda day, which added to the mood. our waitress was darned with 1950s apparel and was such a doll. she told us in the 1920s a spy magazine used to hold secret meetings in this room.
