forks is more than just the setting for a certain beloved book, it's the only town on the western shore of the peninsula and it's surrounded by stunning natural wonders. waterfalls, lakes, beaches, rainforest, rugged cliffs, sitka spruce & cedar trees everywhere you look. to us its the heart of washington, you just can't believe something so mystical exists in the u.s.
we were so lucky to spend so much time in this area. the farm was only 2 hours from forks so we used it as our hub.(car camping in the in the transit parking lot)
