lake crescent is wildly gorgeous, the 101 highway follows right along its waters for a part of the journey from port angeles to forks. along the way there is a sign for marymere falls, we passed it twice before we decided to check it out. we aren't smitten with every waterfall we see but this one has such a unique trail with a sweet log bridge over a river.
